This seems like a nice spreadsheet although it's not quite what I was looking for. A bit more documentation and instructions would make it easier to use...

Hello, this calculator appears to be very useful, however I was looking for calculations on a spiral (like clock) spring loaded radially. Good luck with it and please let me know if you develop this capability.

springs 15 types Unfortunately the software does not handle helical compression springs with variable pitch. This would be a useful inclusion. I am especially interested in variable pitch conical compression springs. A help section that defines parameters would also be useful. For example, what is section 4.16, coil shift?
